About me

My name is Qing, I was born and raised in Chongqing, China.

After studying in Germany, I worked as an engineer in the German car industry for many years. I felt a strong desire to learn more about my native culture which led me to start studying tea and Chinese painting. 

My family and I moved to China in 2017 and I undertook professional training and obtained two Chinese national certifications: Tea Master and Tea Inspector.  I started my own company: Q-Studios.  I ran tea classes and traditional tea ceremony workshops but in a modern way, to give the ancient culture a new life. I have conducted workshops in German, English and Chinese. 

Chinese painting is a dynamic meditation. I started studying the traditions, materials and techniques with diverse professional artists. I hosted traditional Chinese painting classes every week - mostly focussing on the flowers of the season: discover the beauty and feel the nature around you! 

Now residing in England, I offer customisable workshops on Chinese tea culture and history, traditional Chinese painting, or a combination. 

Additionally, I offer an exciting new corporate experience called “China to the World” where I introduce a fresh perspective on Chinese culture, making it visible, tangible and understandable.
